During a narcissistic collapse, narcissists may experience overwhelming rage. This frustration often results from their inability to identify their emotions. Unlike ordinary individuals, narcissists struggle to manage their reactions, leading them to lash out. This outburst can manifest as shouting or aggressive behavior, and in extreme cases, they may resort to bullying or violence if they cannot regain emotional stability.
4. Impulsive Reactions
When faced with a threat to their carefully crafted self-image, narcissists react impulsively. Their narcissistic traits become exaggerated during a collapse, leading them to make hasty decisions in an attempt to regain control. This impulsiveness often results in clumsy actions that can unravel their fabricated narratives, leaving them feeling even more vulnerable.
