Sign number two, and perhaps the most obvious: You feel dead tired all the time, emotionally exhausted. This is different from chronic fatigue. All survivors of narcissistic abuse struggle with chronic fatigue, which gets better over time. However, fatigue caused by a spiritual attack launched by a narcissist is different. It does not improve with rest, supplements, or healing work. It feels like you are running a marathon continuously, even in your sleep. It doesn’t make sense, but you feel as if energy is being siphoned out of your body 24/7. That’s why these people have rightly been called energy vampires. A single conversation with a narcissist can leave you fatigued and drained for weeks.
Sign 3: Irrational Panic and Anxiety
Sign number three: Irrational panic, anxiety, and fear. You were fine until that one interaction with the narcissist, that one episode of exposure. You were doing okay—your energy levels were good, and you were functioning optimally. But this anxiety and panic are new. You can’t think of starting new projects, you doubt your intentions and motives, and you’re losing confidence, which is a new problem. You thought you were far ahead in your healing journey, but now you’re questioning that as well. You’re using all your tools—you’re journaling, talking to friends, consulting your therapist, joining narcissistic abuse groups—yet nothing is helping. You are constantly shaking and doubting yourself. There’s a fear, as if someone is watching you, as if someone is going to attack you or is after you. That fear is a significant indicator of being psychically attacked because it’s their energy. I often call them demonic, and this is where it gets proven. You might feel like there’s someone behind you, someone chasing you. You don’t feel safe in your own skin, your own home, or your own room. You double-check everything because you feel like someone is there, and that fear is real. People might call you psychotic, delusional, or mentally ill, which may be true in some cases. But in the case of a spiritual attack, it’s always that alien, heavy, evil energy that’s present in your environment.
Sign 4: Disconnection from Spiritual Source
