They encourage financial dependence and tell you that success will bring no joy, only problems. They want you to stay beneath them and unable to rise beyond that.
When an opportunity comes your way—such as a job offer, a project, or a new idea—it threatens their fragile ego. If you succeed, they will feel small and irrelevant, and they cannot handle that. So what do they do? They fixate on your plans with deep jealousy, obsessing over your potential success. This fixation carries dark energy that strikes your path. If you’re spiritually vulnerable, this energy can block your progress. Suddenly, events spiral out of control: a prepared project fails, an interview you were ready for gets canceled, a promising deal collapses, and this pattern repeats itself again and again.
You begin to question yourself, wondering if you are doing something wrong, but this is not about your inadequacy; it is the narcissist’s animosity and the dark energy they keep directing at your growth.
