2. They Will Intentionally Invite Someone Who Sides With Them
A narcissist will intentionally invite someone over who sides with them, especially on a day when you have taken time off to relax. The house is messy, but you don’t want to do much—you just want to relax, as you’re already drained from their abuse. They’ll intentionally make this move so that you’re pushed to clean the mess and organize things, or else they’ll say, “Oh yeah, see? This is what I have to live with. I do all the work; I go out and earn, and he/she just sits at home and does nothing, and still, the house looks so messy.” No one will understand your struggles or why you are so drained. You’ll have to make moves only to save your image, but for a good reason—it’s not narcissistic. You’ll need to prevent or stop that triangulation before it happens. But look at the strategy, the demonic nature of this narcissistic individual. They will intentionally invite someone over when they know you have no energy left to care for anyone, not even yourself. Yet, they show no empathy. This is where the betrayal from your supposed biggest supporter comes in. This person should be supporting you through your highs and lows, but instead, they are your biggest enemy, leaving you with a moral wound and betrayal trauma.
3. A Narcissist Will Intentionally Create a Mess
After you clean the house after work to ensure you wake up to a nice, tidy environment, a narcissist will intentionally create a mess to destroy your joy and create clutter. This clutter fills your mind, creating psychological disorganization, leaving you feeling no control over your environment. This is why I say they are your biggest enemy.
