Narcissists are jealous beings and incapable of forming genuine relationships. All their relationships are superficial, with no real transparency or authenticity. When they see your genuine connections, they feel threatened. In their heads, they justify your displays of love and affection as fake. “Oh, they’re being dramatic. I know why you do it, you’re putting on a show, aren’t you?” They assume this because it’s how they operate in their own relationships. Eventually, they will try to destroy your connections out of jealousy and a desire for maximum control over you.
Number Five: They hate anything that contradicts their agenda.
Narcissists are stupid in that they refuse to accept logic, reason, or facts. They live in a bubble of distorted reality where they are the hero, the savior, or the victim, and you are the perpetrator. Anyone who helps you is labeled crazy or jealous, trying to bring them down. This is their false reality. They justify their actions, self-gaslight before gaslighting you, and ignore the destruction they cause in people’s lives. Anything that exposes the falseness of their reality is met with narcissistic rage.
Number Six: They hate your authentic self.
