However, Narcissists may initially create excuses for your silence, even telling others that you have lost your mind or are behaving strangely. They will play the innocent victim to others, but deep down, they know exactly why you have shut them out, and it will bother them more the longer you maintain zero contact or continue to ignore them.

Removing Narcissists from our lives is crucial. Whatever method works for you is fine, but the most important thing is to be consistent and never give in to their hoovering attempts or desperate tricks to come back. That is the only way these messages will hit like a brick.
