The messages will all be the same and the best things about it is that all you have to do is ignore them or go No Contact which is a win-win situation for you. And although the Narcissist may try to come up with their own reasons as to why you have chosen to go No Contact or Ignore them, the longer you remain absent the harder it will be for them to deny the reality of the situation and what your absence or lack of interest really means.
The first message you are sending to the Narcissist when you go No Contact or Ignore them is I can live without you. Implementing any of these methods makes it clear to the Narcissist that you do not need them in your life. You don’t need to talk to them. You don’t need to spend time with them. You don’t need their help or advice.
Your life can run perfectly smooth if not better without their presence or influence. The second message that you are communicating is you don’t control me. The Narcissist usually wants to be the one to decide which relationships they keep and which ones they don’t. They usually want to decide when they are ready for you or whether you should stay on the shelf a bit longer.
So, by going no contact or ignoring them you are telling them that you decide who you want in your life and it is not them. You are showing them that you call the shots and that you are not sitting around waiting for them. The third message you are communicating is that they do not matter. Narcissists want to feel relevant. They want that you need them enough to put up with their crap.
