7.Rejection :
They hate rejection of any kind and will do anything to avoid being rejected again.When confronted with these unpleasant behaviors in others, they take any rejection personally; they are truly offended by any rejection they encounter because, in their minds, other people do not have the right to reject them; that entitlement is only reserved for the narcissists themselves. As a result, whenever they are rejected by someone, they feel extremely disrespected. They may even believe that this person intended to humiliate them and take it personally.
8.Not being properly acknowledged :
Another thing they despise is not being properly acknowledged in a social, family, or business setting. Narcissists are completely reliant on receiving extremely high levels of narcissistic supply at all times, and failure to be properly acknowledged results in an inability to obtain narcissistic supply.
Not only that, but they truly believe that they are superior human beings in comparison to others, so not being recognized for the superior being they believe they are will cause a narcissistic injury, and when they receive a narcissistic injury, this can provoke them to seek revenge against the person or persons they believe are responsible for them being disrespected.
