When Your To-Do List is Your Bucket List (You might be an ADHDer if*…)

Well, if you are a non-ADHDer (aka “neurotypically-minded”), maybe you have a “to-do” item that has been on a “to-do” list for longer than a year, just like an ADHDer, but for you, such a list is called a bucket list.

Bucket List items are things like…

Give up coffee and drink mushroom stuff instead.
Try the other kinds of mushrooms with a shaman.
Go glamping in the Amazon.
Do naked karaoke (find out where it’s legal first).

Organize “writing” folders (mind you, your desktop has 10–12 variations of folders with “writing” in the title, and there are many spiral notebooks, too).

Clean and de-clutter drawers, cabinets, rooms and/or entire homes and offices.

Finish and/or edit entire screenplays, short stories, memoirs, and articles.

Items that simply need “completing”
(Examples: reading a friend’s novel written three years ago, watching a friend’s documentary produced five years ago, listening to a podcast episode suggested on a different podcast a year ago, finishing the video series about trauma, self-massage, creativity, or the successful neurodivergent, managing money, de-cluttering, or starting a business with no capital.) or any other series that has been purchased over the past ten or so years but is, as yet, unwatched.
