Narcissists don’t like being taught, and they learn less from their actions. Competition is essential for motivation, but for narcissists, it only hurts their fragile egos. Narcissists can’t see anyone above them in any situation. Say, for example, your narcissist friend is lectured by their parents because of your achievement. What do you think their behavior will be? Don’t imagine that they will get motivated and work harder. No, never! Instead, they will start disliking you and try to harm you. They will either interrupt your way to success or negatively impact your reputation. When your friend should work hard to improve their position, they will try to make you lose so they can feel superior.
Number 4: You don’t agree with them.
One word that narcissists never want to hear is no. Don’t dare say no to them, especially in unfavorable situations because it will end badly. For example, your boss is a narcissist who, like the Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland, wants her employees to do what she desires despite all the advantages and disadvantages. In this situation, if you dare say “No, you are wrong,” or “No, it can’t work this way,” then you might count this day among the worst in your life. This type of managerial narcissism if encountered always creates chaos. You will be counted among their top enemies, which is not good, at least for your job.
