6. They Seek Younger Companions
As narcissists grow older, many, especially older men, seek the company of younger people, particularly younger women. They want to live vicariously through the youth they no longer possess, using these young individuals as trophies to distract from their own reality. This parasitic behavior is a desperate attempt to cling to a false sense of vitality. In some cases, they may even marry someone half their age, not out of love but to fuel their delusions of youth and importance.
