5 Places Where Narcissists Are Most Protected & You’re Tortured
This is where narcissists are heavily shielded. In an ideal world, a workplace exists to reward genuine merit, hard work, ethical leadership, and teamwork. It’s supposed to be an environment where productivity and integrity determine your success.
Instead, modern corporate culture often acts as a paradise for manipulative predators. A narcissist in the workplace is rarely focused on doing the actual hard work. Their expertise lies in advertising their achievements, stealing credit from coworkers, and kissing up to powerful executives. They know how to charm decision-makers and make themselves appear completely indispensable.
When higher-ups share those same ruthless, self-serving tendencies, they recognize each other and form an unspoken alliance. They promote one another, cover up each other’s misconduct, and make sure anyone who challenges them is treated as the problem.
When an honest employee tries to report a narcissist’s workplace bullying, sabotage, or dishonesty to Human Resources, the victim is suddenly labeled difficult or a threat to the team. The narcissist is viewed as a valuable organizational asset who generates revenue, while the person exposing the truth is treated as a liability threatening the company’s public image. The institution ends up destroying the honest person to protect the profitable abuser.
