5 Places Where Narcissists Are Most Protected & You’re Tortured
What I am about to say is going to bother a lot of people, but it needs to be said. Most people like to think that narcissistic abuse happens in a bubble, in complete isolation, tucked away within the four walls of a private relationship. But in truth, narcissistic abuse is so pervasive today because it is actively enabled, normalized, and spread through the systems that run our society—the very structures morally responsible for protecting the innocent. Can you imagine that?
Look at what happens around us every single day. We see family members blindly covering up abuse in a mother’s home. We see religious communities worshiping a religious leader’s fake public image. We see corporate workplaces promoting manipulative snakes simply because they bring in money. We see courtrooms allowing rich, narcissistic abusers to drain their victims dry. And we see circles of fake friends staying completely silent just because the narcissist buys them dinner.
The people who occupy and run these spaces are often the ones who shield the narcissist the most, leaving the survivor standing completely alone in the dark. It is time we talked about this and shed light on this dark reality.
