God’s curse is real, the narcissist ignores it, but in the end, they die a miserable death.

You see, the narcissist demands absolute loyalty while offering absolute betrayal. That math never works out in the long run. Slowly but surely, the high-quality people in their life figure out the game and quietly walk away. The only people left are those who are just as broken—or those who are using them in return. This creates a terrifying echo chamber.

They are surrounded by superficial enablers, but they have never felt more intensely alone. They start to realize that nobody actually loves the real them, because the real them has been buried under decades of lies. They are loved as a character, and characters inevitably fade away.

The psychological breakdown happens quietly behind closed doors. The mask begins to slip more frequently. The rage episodes become harder to conceal. They are exhausting themselves trying to keep the illusion alive. The divine consequence is already active—slowly dismantling the false idol they built out of their own ego.

Then comes the inevitable shift. It usually happens when they hit a certain age or face a crisis they cannot manipulate their way out of. The charm they used to open doors starts to feel forced and desperate. The looks fade, the money shifts, or the social status cracks. Suddenly, their old magic just stops working for them.

This is the turning point where the spiritual reckoning becomes visible. They try to run their usual plays, casting themselves as the victim or the hero, but the audience isn’t buying it anymore. The energy in the room changes when they enter.

People no longer look at them with admiration. They look at them with cold pity. Imagine the terror of being a predator who has suddenly lost their teeth. They try to secure a new source of supply, but they can only attract low-level chaos. The people who used to tolerate their tantrums have healed and moved on. The narcissist is left shouting into a void, completely baffled by their loss of power.
