What happens when an Empath Turns Dark on the Narcissist

A narcissist survives by looking at people and seeing a reflection of their own greatness—or at least a reflection of their power to cause pain. Even when you were crying and miserable, they still felt big, because they were the ones who made you cry.

When you go dark, your eyes change. They become like X-ray machines. When the narcissist stands in front of you puffing out their chest, lying, screaming, or bragging, you do not look at them with fear or hatred.

You look at them with a look of absolute deep pity. You look at them the way an adult looks at a toddler who’s throwing a tantrum in the middle of a grocery store.

This glare strips the narcissist naked. It triggers a deep, primitive fight response inside their soul. A narcissist cannot survive in an environment where they’re fully seen and completely irrelevant.

Your cold, quiet observation makes them feel like a microscopic bug under a glass lens. It completely drains their fake confidence and replaces it with a heavy, choking paranoia.

They start to realize that every time they open their mouth, they are just confirming everything you already know about their pathetic inner world.
