When You Vanish On the Covert Narcissist…They Do THIS

But then they’ll go through the same cycle: love-bombing, idolizing the new supply, thinking the grass is greener—everything feels wonderful. Then what happens? They get tired of the new supply, or they start seeing things they don’t like, and then everything crashes down the way it always does in every narcissist relationship.

And then they’re going to be thinking about you—the one who vanished. They’ll be angry that you fell off the face of the earth and disappeared on them, but they’ll also hate the other supply that they ran to. They’ll hate that other supply, and they’ll feel like you got the best of them because you rejected them. You disappeared on them, and they don’t like it.

So what will they do? They’ll be watching your social media like a hawk. They want to see what you’re doing—whether you post anything. Like I said, they may not chase after you because they have another supply, but over time they’ll start wondering what’s going on with you.

They may even assume you have somebody and that you were cheating on them, which is why you vanished. Narcissists think you’re just as corrupt as they are. So they’ll watch your social media to see where you’re going, what you’re doing, who you’re hanging out with, and where your head is at. That’s if you’re not blocked. If you are blocked, they may try to watch you from a fake profile—because narcissists create fake social media profiles.

Now listen: if you were a good supply—an “A-grade” supply— even if they move on to another supply, they’ll still want to reel you back in. So they’ll try to hoover you, even after you vanish on them.

If you vanish on them, they may not care initially—but if you’re an A-grade supply, they’ll come back in some way over time.
