When You Vanish On the Covert Narcissist…They Do THIS

What happens when you vanish on that narcissist? What do you think that narcissist is going to do when you totally—totally—disappear on them? Do you think the narcissist is going to chase after you? Well, I’m going to explain what a narcissist does when you vanish on them.

Here’s what’s going to happen. A narcissist believes they will always have control over you. But after a while of dealing with the narcissist or dealing with their abuse, sometimes victims just can’t take it anymore. So they take off and vanish on the narcissist.

When you vanish on the narcissist, they’re going to think you’re playing games with them. They may believe you’re trying to get them to chase after you. Or the narcissist may realize, “Uh-oh, I pushed too far. Now I have to do damage control.”

What many narcissists do is reach out to you to reel you back in with love-bombing. They try to bring you back because they know they pushed too far and they don’t want to lose you. They don’t want to lose their supply.

So when you vanish on the narcissist, if they can replace you, they’re not really going to worry about you disappearing on them. They’ll move on to the other supply and think, “Okay, play your games. I don’t care—I have somebody else.”
