When You See a Narcissist After No Contact…They Do THIS
All right? You’re going to be so creeped out if you run into the narcissist and they’re sitting there staring at you with a smirk, because they’re thinking to themselves, “Oh, you think you can avoid me? Here I am.”
So one of the things they’re going to do if you run into them after no contact is they’re going to stare at you and maybe smirk at you. Okay?
Then what do you think is the second thing a narcissist would do when there’s no contact and you run into them?
Well, they’re going to start a conversation and act like nothing ever happened. “Oh, hi! How have you been?” Okay? And that’s exactly what the narcissist did after staring me down.
Then when we were face-to-face, he started talking to me like, “Hey, how you been?” This and that—like nothing ever happened between us.
When you’re in a situation like that and you see the narcissist after no contact, the best thing to do is to try to avoid them. But sometimes you can’t avoid them—like if you walk right past them in a place and if they say something to you, you can ignore them and keep walking.
Or you can gray rock them—like, “I’m fine”—and then keep walking.
All right? Give them no energy. Don’t feed the narcissist.
And the only reason I say “gray rock” is to avoid provoking them. You don’t want to provoke a narcissist, because you don’t want the vengeance. You don’t want them looking for revenge on you just because you provoked them.
So you want to avoid saying anything or being nasty, because if you do, it could come back to you. Then they may look to stalk you, haunt you, or cause problems for you—and you don’t need that.
All right? So the best thing is to be as boring as a gray rock, say nothing at all, or walk by them like they’re a stranger and you don’t even see them.
Now, what’s the second way a narcissist would react when you see them after no contact? This is very common. All right?
And you may see it in families. Maybe you’re no contact with someone in your family—they do this too.
But you might see them out somewhere—maybe at a store or at an event in your area.
How do you think they’ll react to you after no contact?
