When You See a Narcissist After No Contact…They Do THIS
You want to pretend like they don’t even exist, because you don’t want to open the door for them to come back and contact you again. Your whole goal is to get rid of them.
So the less you say and the less you look their way, the better. And if you fight with them, they may go around and tell everybody how you were fighting with them. Then here comes the smear campaign all over again. They’ll play the victim and say you started with them.
So give them nothing. Absolutely nothing. Don’t look at them. Don’t say anything. And just keep walking. Pretend like you don’t even see them.
This is a really weird situation, but it happens a lot—where people run into a narcissist somewhere: at a get-together, at an event, in a city, or in a town.
You might run into them, but it’s how you handle it that will preserve your peace. Don’t open that door even one inch for the narcissist to come back into your life.
You want to be cold—cold as ice.
See, when you’re cold, there’s nothing they can say. But if you have a conversation, they might think they can come back. If you provoke them, they could start trouble for you—smear campaign.
So again, icing them out is the best. And the reason it’s the best is because it preserves your peace—that’s what you want. You don’t want the mess coming back into your life.
