When You See a Narcissist After No Contact…They Do THIS
Most of the time, if they see you after no contact, they’re not going to give you attention because they’re still angry about the no contact.
The only time they would give you attention—like in the first incident I mentioned, when I ran into the narcissist in the subway—is because they want to try to get back with you.
Okay? So if they want to get back with you, they would try to strike up a conversation, or they’d stare you down.
But if they know it’s really over, they’re either going to dismiss you, turn their back to you, or give you a fake hello.
Most of the time though, when it’s really over and they know it’s over—if you run into them somewhere, like a bar or an event—they’re going to ice you out. They’ll often ice you out and stare at you with a “death stare,” because they know there’s absolutely no chance you want to be bothered with them.
So, the bottom line is this: if you run into a narcissist after no contact, the best thing for you to do is to stay cool.
You want to be cool. You don’t want to react. You don’t want to provoke them. You want to treat them like they’re a stranger on the street—unless they get in your face.
And if they try to provoke you and get in your face, then you gray rock them and keep walking.
All right? Don’t give them a lot of attention. Don’t get angry and start calling names, because that’s giving the narcissist attention. That’s feeding the narcissist.
You don’t want to flip them off either, okay? Because again, it shows the narcissist that they got to you.
