6 Ways a Narcissist Uses Sleep To Cheat On You
They may fake sleep on the couch so that they don’t have to get out of bed during the night. How bizarre is that?
When narcissists talk to their new supplies, they talk with them in places and at times when you are not there, when you are not available, when you are not watching them. One of the places they go is the bathroom. That’s why they love the bathroom.
One reason is that they love taking selfies—especially if they’re a grandiose narcissist who is all about themselves. The other reason is that the bathroom gives them the privacy they need to cheat. It gives them privacy to check in with other sources of supply. That’s why they spend hours in there.
So they fake sleeping on the couch. If you ask them to come to bed and sleep with you, they act drowsy and sleepy. They don’t listen. They pretend they’re deep asleep. Then once you leave, they suddenly wake up—full of energy—texting those people without caring how hurt you would be if you found out.
They fall asleep—in a pub, in a friend’s house, in their mother’s or father’s house—whatever the lie is. They just need a place to escape what they’re doing. They need to escape the cheating. They need to escape with their actions, because they need a place and an excuse so you don’t find out the truth.
